It’s time for a better solution to your chronic sinusitis.

Chronic sinusitis symptoms include discolored drainage, nasal congestion/obstruction, with possible pressure or pain. Which may be causing repeated antibiotic use for relief. Let the experts at our clinic help you determine if sinus surgery is right for you, and also plan out the least invasive approach to get you breathing better.

You’ve tried it all - sinus sprays, antibiotics, steroids, allergy treatments - and you still can’t breathe comfortably.

You’ve heard of sinus surgery, and are interested in the benefits, but are concerned about the implications. At Arizona Minimally Invasive Sinus Institute, we understand the concerns that our patients have about sinus surgery. That’s why we first educate our clients on the sinus surgery process, and empower them to make the decision. If they do decide surgery is a good fit, we always take the most minimally invasive approach, so that they are back to feeling better quickly.

We’ve been helping chronic sinus sufferers feel better for over 30 years.

Meet Dr. Robert Bridge

In 2019 Dr. Bridge moved into his own private practice. Where he specializes in general ENT care, head and neck surgery and sinus surgery. Dr. Bridge has built his practice around a simple, but important, principle: to educate patients and take the least minimally invasive approach.

What Our Patients Say About Sinus Surgery

We understand the huge impact that chronic sinusitis has on your life.

When patients come to us, they are struggling with issues like:

  • Recurring and resistant sinus infections

  • Inability to breathe comfortably

  • Pain and pressure in their face or teeth

  • Persistent allergy symptoms

  • Trouble sleeping and snoring

  • Decreased sense of smell

Our goal is to get our patients to a place where these symptoms have subsided and they can finally breathe comfortably again - allowing them to resume the life they had before chronic sinusitis.

The 5-Step Process

It’s not as intimidating as you might think!

Step 1: Come in for a consultation.

During your consultation appointment, we’ll document the struggles you’ve had with your sinuses and for how long. We’ll address all of your general questions and concerns about the next step forward. If we think sinus surgery could help you, we’ll order a CT scan so we can get a full picture of what’s happening with your sinuses.

Step 2: Learn about your personalized treatment options.

After we receive your CT scan, we’ll determine if you are a good fit for sinus surgery and discuss your options. Many surgeries can be done in our office. Occasionally we will have to do a more extensive surgery at an outpatient facility or ambulatory surgery center. We’ll also give you your anesthesia options - we offer everything from local anesthesia and numbing to IV sedation.

Step 3: Quick appointment before surgery.

We’ll do a quick pre-surgery appointment the week before for last minute health checks, prescriptions and questions.

Step 4: Undergo surgery (typically in-office and under 90 minutes)

On the day of your surgery, we’ll check to see how you are feeling and if you have any final questions. Then, we’ll move you to the operating suite. We will begin with your pre-determined anesthesia plan and start the procedure. Most procedures last from 30-90 minutes. At the end, your advocate can drive you home for some rest.

Step 5: Rest & Recover

While recovery time depends on the extent of your surgery, most patients are cleared to resume normal activities not long after treatment. Including breathing better! (Of course, always make sure you follow the doctor’s personalized plan for you.)
